Make sure that you are still receiving balanced nutrition while on the program.  Nutrition is an essential piece of weight loss.  The reason so many fad diets fail is because they don’t provide the proper nutrition to be successful.

Also, consider does the program rely on dedicated or prepackaged meals.  Any dedicated or prepackaged food is going to increase your overall costs.

Research indicates that it is harder to lose weight on your own with a do it yourself approach.  Additionally, studies have indicated that people who use a do it yourself weight loss plan lose less weight overall than people who have used a structured weight loss plan.
